Jimmy Choo introduces its first
ever sunglass collection for Spring Summer ’08 created in
collaboration with the Safilo Group - A range of
glamorous, sophisticated styles inspired by vintage frames
but with a modern edge.
The iconic appeal of the designs makes
these new sunglasses irresistible with their tactile
finishes, bold colour combinations and signature Jimmy Choo
detailing. The frames reference the ‘70s and ‘80s but
are contemporary in design, detail and technical
specificity.
Boo and Kat with their edgy, oversized
frames are set to become icons in their own right – the
distinctive frames are translated in bold black as well as
subtle tones of tortoiseshell, gold and silver. The Charley
offers a contemporary aviator style exuding luxury with
delicate stud detail. Sexy and provocative, the JJ frame
seduces with its sinuous shape wrapping around the face in a
knotted “snake” effect - a detail echoed in Jimmy Choo’s
sandals for Spring Summer ’08. Ornate oval hinges add a
glamorous effect to the refined Lou frame which is offered
in a sophisticated palette of tortoiseshell, rose gold,
dusky grey and rich brown. Rock, designed for a
sophisticated, strong woman, is a chic square frame
embellished with Swarovski crystal studs reflecting the
detail on many iconic Jimmy Choo bags.
